GAC Clothing Drive

GAC Clothing Drive
It’s time to clean our closets to make way for the needy with our clothing. The Educational Development Committee needs you for their Clothing Drive. The ED committee is collecting “gently” used clothing on an ongoing basis at GAC meetings and select chapter events/activities (which will be announced). Donations are being accepted for all genders & ages. A special emphasis right now is on coats, gloves, hats, and scarfs for the students at 21st Century Charter School.

Please make sure clothing is free of extensive damage and is clean.
The committee is also in need of clothing hangers.

Consider partnering with the ED committee and host a bin at your place of employment or your favorite frequenting businesses.
Help the ED committee to bless needy families in our communities with this awesome and much-needed service project. Any donation is extremely appreciated. Please contact the ED committee at garyalumnaedst@gmail.com regarding donations and drop-offs.

Thank you!

Youth Etiquette Luncheon a Success!

Youth Etiquette Luncheon a Success!

The GAC Educational Development Committee hosted it’s annual etiquette luncheon and it was a huge success.  The speaker was Gary’s own, Lady Byrd, a professional etiquette and charm coach.  She worked with youth on how to properly walk and sit and how to hold proper dinner conversation.  It was a moving experience that the adults and children were able to share in.  GAC members who were present at the event.  (1st Vice President Shana L.
